I am Dr. Rose Davilmar, I serve as the Head of School of Fidelis Academy & Preschool.
At Fidelis our priority is to provide our students the education they deserve. We are a private Christian school in the Fort Lauderdale area, serving children ages 3 to grade 6. We serve, teach, and model truth and love.
We offer an excellent classical education in a home-like environment. We value our partnership with parents and the community. As a Christian school, we focus on competence, character and commitment to self, family, church and community.

Statement and Faith
Fidelis Academy has an educational program designed to foster and encourage a child’s sense of individuality and confidence through the implementation of a fun, effective, and personalized curriculum. We recognize that every child is different and thus, each one processes and retains information differently. Adapting the philosophic principals of the Trivium, we hone in on what stage of cognitive and emotional development your child is in and structure his or her learning experience around that.

Guided by traditional Christian values, we nurture an open and safe teacher-child relationship in which kids are encouraged to take moral, physical, and mental ownership and thrive in a creative, home-like environment. Our focus is to release every child’s abilities, gifts, and talents through creativity, imagination, and innovation.

We want to be your trusted partner in the facilitation and education process by reinforcing the biblical principles and Christian character that you teach and strive for.

Our Story
Fidelis Academy was founded by a homeschooling mother of four children named Rose Davilmar. Unhappy with the current state of education, she wanted an alternative academic atmosphere for her children. Unable to find a public or private program that fit the learning and spiritual requirements she sought for her children, she developed a unique model of individualized curriculum for all four of her children. She now wants to extend this specialized learning process to your family.

The way you fill in this blank can determine how you make decisions regarding your child’s education. Some may complete that sentence with “to get into a great college” while others may answer, “to get a good job.” While many public and private schools in the tri-county area can deliver basic learning skills that prepare kids for college or real world jobs, they may not utilize this valuable time to explore the inherent God-given qualities and abilities your child has. We at Fidelis believe learning is so much more than just math and reading.
